Main page for images (or maybe eventually posts) with titles linked directly to their source news coverage. Best image AR: 16:9.
Nora’s note: I thought I had created a properly sized header/feature image, but it still only shows some of the image. Resizing it to 966×310, the “header container” size where image appears, did not help and only reduced the quality on site. How can I create or display a full image?
The following layout shows image and text block elements added and edited within columns (an alternative is for me to create a template in Canva and create them all as individual images that contain screen shot and text and are linked to the external source — and those would lack the additional on-page SEO opportunities inherent in the approach shown here):
I don’t like this editor.
I see no way to layout the page more attractively, within sections with borders, margins, backgrounds, etc.
I see no way to set the link in the “Read more” block, so I used paragraph anchor text instead. This is probably a better approach anyway, because I can determine the text.
I also see no way to add a border around the column, so instead I colored the background to visually mark its boundaries for now.
I see no way to set padding or margins within/around/between columns or any content or to center the block/section of columns on the page.
